Larry Fehd is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Human Performance Strategies, LLC. He possesses a unique talent for improving senior executive effectiveness, team and organizational performance, and business results. Prior to founding HPS, Fehd was a senior executive at Johnson & Johnson and worked extensively with senior executives, who valued his expertise and unique business perspective and insights. He also served on the prestigious Johnson & Johnson Leadership and Organization Development consortium, which created best-in-class leadership development programs.

Fehd has expertise in executive coaching, executive team development, and organizational effectiveness. He Is an inspiring speaker and avid writer. His current writing project is entitled Igniting Human Potential. He is the author of Emotional Intelligence: An Executive Handbook and numerous articles published by HPS Leadership Best Practices™ Journal. He is a business management graduate of Purdue University and holds a number of professional certifications such as the Center for Creative Leadership and Insights Learning and Development of Dundee, Scotland.

Melinda Figeley Dean, SPHR, is a principal and Senior Vice President of Human Performance Strategies, LLC. She previously held several senior executive positions in Human Resources and has been a long-term advocate for fundamental and comprehensive change in the HR function's approach and role in the organization. She recognized the need for HR to focus on producing quantifiable business results and to develop its own unique value proposition to the organization. CEOs and senior executives need to rely on HR to plan and implement effective HR strategies while helping to tap the highest potential of all human capital.

Figeley has the uncanny ability to quickly diagnosis and recommend solutions in a broad business context. Her expertise resides in performance-based executive coaching and consulting; aligning business strategy with human capital objectives; measuring and quantifying the Human Resource function's results via standard business metrics; and improving processes, systems, and controls for increased organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Figeley's experience includes work with General Motors, ITT, and MCI, and she has held Vice President positions with companies such as Broadwing Communications and RenewData Corp. She is a dynamic and in-demand speaker on topics such as "HR as Strategic Business Partner" and "Financial Management and Business Metrics for HR Professionals." For ten years she was the lead instructor for The University of Texas Human Resources Management Certification Program. Figeley is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan and serves on the Business Advisory Board of Austin Asset Management Company.
